We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our site. This data is used solely to improve our product and is never sold to third parties.

8. Third-Party Links

Our website may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these external sites. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party sites you visit.

9. Browser Extension

Our Chrome extension, the simplyaboveaverage Shopping Assistant, is optional and separate from this website. This section describes what it does, because it runs on stores we do not own.

9.1 Where it runs

The extension does not run anywhere until you say so. When you install it, it has access to no stores at all. From its menu you can switch it on for the site you are looking at, or for every store, and you can switch it off again at any time. We ask this way on purpose: an extension that could read every site from the moment it was installed would have access to your bank and your email long before it had a reason to.

Where you have switched it on, and on a page that looks like a product page, it reads what that page already shows publicly: the product name, brand, price, image, link, and the colours and sizes it offers. It may also request that product's public details from the store's own website, the same way the page itself does. It does not read your browsing history, and it does not collect the contents of pages that are not product pages.

9.2 What it sends to us

While you are signed in, and only on a product page where the size panel appears, the extension sends us the store's domain, the kind of garment, and the sizes that page lists, so we can tell you which one matches the fit you saved. Signed out, it sends nothing — it does not ask, because the answer would need your fit profile.

When you choose to save a piece, we receive that product's details and the size and colour you picked, so it can appear in your cart or wishlist. Nothing is saved unless you press the button.

9.3 Signing in

The extension has no sign-in of its own and never handles your password. When you sign in on this website, it reads that existing session so it can act as you. Signing out here signs the extension out too. Your session is kept in your browser's own extension storage on your device.

9.4 What we do not do

We do not sell the data the extension collects, and we do not use it for advertising or share it with data brokers. We do not read payment details, passwords, or anything you type into another website's forms. You can switch the extension off for a site, or for all sites, from its own menu, and removing it from your browser's extensions page deletes the session it stored.

10. Children's Privacy

Our services are not intended for individuals under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected information from a child under 13, please contact us immediately.
